Talk Reminder values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure.

1. Information We Collect

a. Username

Users enter a preferred username during sign-up. Used only to identify the account inside the app.

b. 4-Digit PIN

Used for recovery and login verification. Stored securely with encryption.

c. Device ID (Technical)

We store a technical device identifier to:

• Automatically log users into the same account after reinstall or update
• Prevent duplicate accounts

This is not linked to personal identity.

d. Reminder Text

When you speak your reminder: your voice is converted to text. Only the text version is saved. We do NOT store your voice recording.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Contact lists
• Photos or media
• Location data
• Messages
• Sensitive personal information

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only for:

• Creating your app account
• Saving reminders
• Delivering date-based notifications
• Generating text-to-speech reminders
• Account recovery after reinstall or update
• Improving app performance and security

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers.

4. Internet Requirement

The app needs internet access to:

• Save reminders
• Convert speech to text
• Show notifications
• Play text-to-speech reminders
• Recover login

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely using encrypted methods. Only necessary data is stored (username, PIN, device ID, reminder text). Voice recordings are never stored. Payment information is not collected or stored by us.

6. Subscriptions & Payment

Payment processing is handled by authorized third-party providers. We do not store card numbers or payment credentials.

7. Data Deletion

You can request full data deletion by emailing:

Your account, reminders, username, PIN, and device ID will be permanently removed within 7 working days.

8. Children’s Privacy

Talk Reminder is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Third-Party Services

The app may use:

• Speech-to-Text APIs
• Text-to-Speech APIs
• Cloud hosting servers
• Payment gateways

These services follow their own privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update the Privacy Policy occasionally. Using the app after updates means you agree to the revised policy.
